Word Origins (Third grade?)

This one has no date on it, but it's a mimeograph paper like most of the others from third grade. Not my best composition, but it made me laugh when I re-read it, so here it is.


How We Got the Word "Leprechaun"
Once upon a time there was a little man and his name was Haun. He didn't have a last name. One day Haun went for a walk and he met two other little men and their names were Lep and Rec. They decided to make a word from their names and that's how we got the word Leprechaun.
